Boxing Day Brunch
"Oh, by gosh, by golly, It's time for mistletoe and holly.
Fancy ties an' granny's pies, An' folks stealin' a kiss or two.
As they whisper, "Merry Christmas" to you."
Here is this years tablescape creation for our annual Boxing Day brunch. For the past couple of years we have hosted an annual Boxing Day brunch for both of our families. A perfect way to get family time in over the holidays. With delicious homemade pancakes, fresh fruit toppings, Canadian maple bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs and homemade mini banana bread bites, this meal is one we always look forward to, as well as having our whole family together around one table.
The tablescape theme
Fresh pine, cedar and spruce, mixed in with antique wooden candle sticks. Rustic deer antlers that were found in my family's apple orchard, linen runners and silver brushed wicker chargers. To complete this rustic look I added in black and white elements such as beautiful plaid napkins, mini boxwood & spruce wreaths and hand painted ornaments for place markers.
